總統專機傳出遭恐嚇放置炸彈，黃姓男子涉嫌在新北市新莊區一家超商旁，使用公用電話卡向警方報案，指稱總統專機有炸彈後即掛電話。警方循線逮捕，進一步偵辦動機。
蔡總統正在巴拉圭訪問，黃重諺受訪表示，安全單位在出發相關過程的安全訊息，全程掌握，總統府也對總統維安有信心，細節由警方處理。
他說，國安局第一時間掌握，也細部了解，「排除它是實際（放炸彈）的狀況」；安全單位收到這樣的訊息，也做了確認，後續則由警方把人找出來。
媒體追問總統有因此延誤登機嗎？黃重諺說，沒有這樣的問題、蔡總統也知道相關情資。
他說，當天出發前接獲訊息，國安單位收到這個訊息後，把電話從哪打的？可能是誰？電話附近的監視器調出，讓警方後續處理；「我們對我們的安全單位有高度的信心，他們表現得很好」。
